For the past year, The Cohoes Paranormal Society has been investigating the historic, and famously haunted, Cohoes Music Hall. Spending time alone in the nineteenth century venue, when the staff is gone and the stage is clear, Cohoes Paranormal has used specialty equipment and techniques to uncover evidence that may suggest the presence of spirits at the Hall. Now, on Halloween night, they will share their findings with audiences at the Hall, and their presentation will be followed by a screening of the modern horror movie classic Paranormal Activity.
About The Cohoes Paranormal Society...
Founded in 2009, and originally known as the Van Schaick Island Paranormal Society, the Cohoes Paranormal Society has been investigating paranormal activity in the homes and businesses of family, friends and clients for nearly fifteen years. They offer their work to concerned citizens as a free public service. While the Cohoes home of founders Carol and Bob Romanowski burned down, and they subsequently moved to Halfmoon, they kept their Cohoes name, as they’d built a reputation for uncovering unusual activity in the Spindle City.
The members of the society do not go into a location with the intent to prove a haunting, but to seek tangible evidence of unusual activity occurring at the location and to try to get to find its source, paranormal or not. If the situation happens to be something beyond our expertise, they will call in additional resources to handle it.
